CHAPTER 503

An Act to validate and provide for the legal effect of certain records in
the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of the County of Chesterfield.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. The “General Index to Judgment Lien Docket and Execution Books”
designated “A-Z, Plaintiffs” and “‘A-Z, Defendants” respectively, in the
office of the clerk of the Circuit Court of the County of Chesterfield is hereby
validated, and is and shall be for all purposes whatever a legal index of
judgments docketed as provided by law in the office of such clerk for the
period beginning January 1, 1989.
