CHAPTER 452
An Act to amend and reenact § 8-752 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to the place and time for the prosecution of claims against the
Commonwealth.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 8-752 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
follows:
§ 8-752. When the Comptroller or other authorized person shall dis-
allow, either in whole or in part, any such claim against the Common-
wealth as is provided for by §§ 2.1-223.1 or 2.1-223.8, at which time a right
of action under this section shall be deemed to accrue, the person present-
ing such claim may petition the circuit court of the city of Richmond for
redress. And when a person has any other claim against the Common-
wealth, redress may be obtained in such court by a petition or by a bill
in chancery, according to the nature of the case. No suit or action shall
be brought pursuant to this section unless the same shall be brought
within three years next after such right of action shall accrue.
