CHAPTER 434

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a - section numbered
8-10.2, so as to provide a limitation on when suits to enforce water,
sewer or sidewalk assessments may be brought. CH 676}

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
8-10.2, as follows:

§ 8-10.2. In addition to the limitation set out in § 8-10.1, no suit
shall be brought to enforce the lien of any water, sewer, or sidewalk
assessment, heretofore or hereafter made, unless the same be brought
within twenty years from the due docketing of said assessment.
