An Act to amend and reenact § 1 of Chapter 59 of the Acts of Assembly
of 1964, approved February 21, 1964, to prohibit hunting with a rifle
of a caliber larger than twenty-two/one hundredths of an inch.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 1 of Chapter 59 of the Acts of Assembly of 1964, approved
February 21, 1964, be amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 1. The boards of supervisors of the counties of Amelia, Dinwiddie,
Brunswick, Prince Edward and Lunenburg may by ordinance prohibit
hunting with a rifle of a caliber larger than twenty-two/one hundredths
of an inch. Such ordinance may provide that violations thereof shall be
punishable as misdemeanors.
