CHAPTER 383

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbere
$6-27.1, 80 as to provide what changes may be considered in certas
condemnation proceedings. rs 84:

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbere
86-27.1, as follows:

8 36-27.1. In any: city whose population is in excess of 15,500 an
is not in excess of 17,000 in considering the damages to be allowed unde
§ 86-27, the court shall instruct the commissioners that damages shall |
allowable for injury to leasehold interests in property adjoining, an
operated jointly with, the land being condemned.

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
