An Act to amend and reenact § 26-27 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to posting lists of fiduciaries.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 26-27 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
follows:
§ 26-27. Every commissioner of accounts shall, on the first day
of the term of any circuit or corporation court of his county or corporation,
or on the first Monday in any month, post at the front door of the courthouse
of such circuit or corporation court a list of the fiduciaries whose accounts
are before him for settlement, stating the names of such fiduciaries, the
nature of their accounts, whether as personal representative, guardian,
curator, committee, or trustee, and the name of their decedents, or of the
persons for whom they are guardians, curators, or committees, or under
whose deed or other instrument of trust they are acting. No account of any
fiduciary shall be completed by any commissioner until ten days after the
list containing the name of such fiduciary as aforesaid shall have been
so posted.
