An Act to amend and reenact § 14.1-122 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to attorney’s fees being taxed as costs in certain cases. rH 285]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 14.1-122 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:
_ § 14.1-122. In every scire facias or other proceeding upon a for-
feited recognizance where a judgment is awarded in behalf of the Com-
monwealth or any political subdivision thereof there shall be taxed in the
costs an attorney’s fee of ten dollars which when recovered shall be paid
into the State treasury or the county or city treasury, as the case may be.
