An Act to amend and reenact § 58-1052 of the Code of Virginia, relating

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 58-1052 of the Code of Virginia, be amended and reenacted
as follows:
§ 58-1052. After the expiration of such period of three years the
purchaser of any real estate so sold and not redeemed, his heirs or assigns,
shall obtain from the clerk of the circuit court of the county or corporation
court of the city whose officer has sold such real estate a deed conveying
the same, in which shall be set forth all the circumstances appearing in the
clerk’s office in relation to the sale. If the real estate so sold has, since
the date of such sale, been annexed to or merged with an adjoining city,
the fierk of the corporation or circuit court of such city shall make such
eed. : .
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
