Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The Governor of Virginia is authorized to convey to public
y companies, public service corporations or companies or politica]
subdivisions of this State right of way easements over property owned
the Commonwealth of Virginia and held for the use and benefit of the

to execute the instruments necessary to effectuate such conveyance, such

All funds received from any such conveyance shall be paid into the
State treasury, to be expended as provided by law.
