An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 17-
208.1, so as to provide an additional judge for the Corporation Court

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
17-208.1, as follows:

§ 17.208.1. On and after February one, ninteen hundred sixty-seven
there shall be an additional judge for the Corporation Court of the City of
Norfolk. Such judge shall reside within the corporate limits of the
city, and his compensation, powers, duties and jurisdiction shall be the
same as are now or may be hereafter conferred or imposed upon corpora-
tion or hustings courts and the judge thereof by general law or statutes ap-
plicable to the city. The office shall be filled in the same manner as provided
in § 17-137.1, and thereafter as provided by general law.
