An Act to amend and reenact § $2-864.1 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to the donation by adult individuals of certain parts of their bodies;
providing how such donations may be effectuated; and providing
for other matters in connection with the foregoing. rH 58]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
Me That § 32-364.1 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:
§ 32-364.1. Every inhabitant of this State of the age of twenty-one
years or more and of sound mind may, by his will or by a written in-
strument executed in the same manner as a will, arrange for or pre-
scribe for the disposition to be made, after death, of his * body, or any
part thereof, provided the same is for the purpose of scientific use, or
for other advancement of medical science, or for the replacement or re-
habilitation of diseased * parts of the bodies of other humans. The per-
son or persons having the right to a body for burial may likewise consent
to such use of the * body or any part thereof. Any such disposition of
his own * body or any part thereof may be revoked by the testator or
grantor at any time prior to his death by the execution of a written in-
strument in the same manner as the original grant.
