CHAPTER 7

An Act to authorize the displaying of Presidential Inauguration license
plates on motor vehicles in lieu of regular license plates. <

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary relating
to the displaying of license plates assigned to a motor vehicle, Presidential
Inauguration license plates duly issued by the Department of Motor Ve-
hicles, Washington, D.C., may be displayed on any motor vehicle duly regis-
tered and licensed in lieu of the license plates assigned to such motor
vehicle. Such Presidential Inauguration license plates shall not be displayed
except for a period of sixty days preceding the Inauguration and sixty days
succeeding such Inauguration.

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
