CHAPTER 98
An Act to authorize the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries, subject
to the approval of the Governor, to sell and convey certain real estate,
and to provide for disposition of the proceeds of such sale. rH 160]
Approved February 25, 1964
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. Subject to the approval of the Governor, the Commission of Game and
Inland Fisheries is hereby empowered to sell and convey by deed, in form
approved by the Attorney General, whatever interest it may have in the
following real property:
A portion of a tract of land and any improvements thereon known as
the Pocahontas Waterfowl Management Area, containing twelve acres,
more or less; the entire tract having been conveyed to the Commission of
Game and Inland Fisheries by deed dated September 17, 1963, and of
record in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of the city of Virginia
Beach, at page 426 of Deed Book 799.
2. All monies received from the sale of said property shall be paid into
the game protection fund of the State treasury and are hereby appro-
priated to the uses prescribed by law for such funds.
8. An emergency exists and this Act is in force from its passage.
