CHAPTER 76

An Act to amend chapter 540 of the Acts of Assembly of 1950 which
provided a new Charter for the town of Haymarket, by adding in
Article III thereof a section numbercd 2, to confer on the trial justice
of the town certain additional jurisdiction.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That Chapter 540 of the Acts of Assembly of 1950 be amended by
adding in Article III thereof a section numbered 2, as follows:
Article ITI
§ 2. In addition to the powers, authority and jurisdiction conferred
by paragraph (18) of § 1 of this act, the trial justice of the town, if and
when appointed, shall have all the power, authority and jurisdiction con-
ferred on judges of juvenile and domestic relations courts by Title 16.1
of the Code of Virginia.
