An Act to appropriate funds for the salaries of additional judges for the
Sixteenth and Twenty-first Judicial Circuits and the Hustings Court
of the city of Portsmouth; and for the salary of the judge of the
Court of Law and Chancery of the city of Hampton. rH 888]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the State
treasury the sum of one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars for the
salaries of the fourth additional judge of the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit,
the additional judge for the Twenty-first Judicial Circuit, the additional
judge of the Hustings Court of the city of Portsmouth, and the salary of
the judge of the Court of Law and Chancery of the city of Hampton, for
the period commencing March one, nineteen hundred sixty-four, and end-
ing June thirty, nineteen hundred sixty-six. Such salaries and payments
thereof shall be subject to the other provisions of law governing salaries
and payment for judges of circuit and corporation courts generally.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
