An Act to amend and reenact § 19.1-114 of the Code of Virginia, relating

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 19.1-114 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:
§ 19.1-114. The circuit court of each county and the circuit court
of each city having a population of not less than eighty thousand but
mot more than eighty-six thousand which city adjoins a city having
a population of more than two hundred thousand, or the judge thereof
in vacation, shall appoint one or more of the commissioners in chancery
of such court, bail commissioners for such county or city. Such court or
judge may appoint a justice of the peace to serve as a bail commissioner
for such county or city.
