An Act to authorize the Board of Directors of the Virginia Truck Experi-
ment Station at Norfolk to lease certain real estate with the approval
of the Governor, and to provide for disposition of the funds derived
from such lease.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. Subject to the approval of the Governor in writing being first
obtained, the Board of Directors of the Virginia Truck Experiment Sta-
tion at Norfolk is hereby empowered to lease, in form approved by the
Attorney General, the following described real property:
Eleven acres, more or less, being the tract generally referred to as
the Halstead property. Such property, as surveyed in April, 1930, and
revised on June 5, 1930, by S. W. Armistead, being 11.13 acres, is situate
west of United States Route 13 and south of the Norfolk and Southern
Railroad at Diamond Springs in the city of Virginia Beach. This property
was conveyed to the State, by deed, recorded on July 2, 1930, in deed book
180, page 349 in the clerk’s office of the circuit court of the city of Virginia
each.
§ 2. All moneys received from the lease of said property shall be
paid into the State treasury.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
