An Act for the relief of the school board of Dinwiddie County. rH 617]

Whereas, the school board of Dinwiddie has received refunds of
certain motor fuel taxes paid by such board on fuel purchased for its use,
but has been advised that certain additional refunds cannot be made
because the time for applying therefor has passed ; and

Whereas, certain of these claims were for fuel delivered in September,
1961, but were not discovered until an audit was made by the Division of
Motor Vehicles in January, 1963; and

Whereas, if such audit had been seasonably made, such refunds would
have been made in time and would have been allowed; now, therefore

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. There is hereby appropriated to the school board of Dinwiddie County
the sum of four hundred seventy-seven dollars and nineteen cents, to be
paid by the State Treasurer on Warrant of the Comptroller from funds
collected as taxes on motor fuel by the Division of Motor Vehicles.

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
