CHAPTER 507

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
29-57.1, permitting the Commission to charge use fees for hunting
on certain lands or facilities.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
29-57.1, as follows:

§ 29-57.1. In addition to the license fees heretofore provided for,
the Commission may impose daily use fees, not to exceed three dollars,
and issue permits therefor to hunt on such lands owned by the Com-
mission within the territorial boundaries of the city of Virginia Beach.
The proceeds from such fees shall be set aside and used exclusively by
the Commission for replenishment of game upon and management of
such lands or facilities. Such permits shall be issued by such person or
persons as may be designated by the Commission at or near the area in
which such permits are required.
