An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
58-12.1, relating to the definition of the word “taxation”. rH 499]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
68-12.1, as follows:

8 58-12.1. The word “taxation” as defined in § 58-12, shall not be
construed to include assessments for local improvements provided for in
Article 2 of Chapter 20 of Title 15, Article 2 of Chapter 7 of Title 15.1,
sity oe 3 of Chapter 18 of Title 15.1, of this Code or the charter of any
city or town.
