CHAPTER 412

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
18.1-98.1, so as to provide for notification to certain clerks of courts
by the State Corporation Commission of certain dissolutions or rein-
statement of corporations, and to provide for recordation thereof.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
13.1-93.1 as follows:

§ 18.1-93.1. Upon the dissolution or reinstatement of corporations
under the provisions of §§ 13.1-91, 13.1-92 or 18.1-98, the Commission
shall notify the clerk of the court for the recording of deeds in the city or
county in which the registered office of the corporation is located, except
that no such notice shall be required in the city of Richmond or the county
of Henrico. The clerk shall note the date of such dissolution or reinstate-
ment in the charter records of his office.
