An Act to amend and reenact § 1, as amended, of Chapter 202 of the Acts
of Assembly of 1950, approved March 14, 1950, relating to the season
in which squirrels may be lawfully hunted in certain counties, 170]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 1, as amended, of Chapter 202 of the Acts of Assembly of
1960, approved March 14, 1960, be amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 1. It shall be lawful to hunt, capture, take and kill squirrels in
the counties of Giles, Carroll, Floyd, Patrick and Henry * during the
period beginning September fifteen of each year and extending through
October fourteen and then beginning on the third Monday in November
and extending through January one following; in the county of Grayson
during the period beginning September fifteen of each year and extending
through September thirty, and then beginning on the third Monday in
November, and extending through January one following; and in the
county of Franklin, during the period beginning September fifteen of each
year and extending through October fourteen, and then beginning, and
extending through the season fixed by regulation for the hunting of small
game generally. The right of certain persons to hunt squirrels on their
own lands shall not be affected hereby.
