CHAPTER 362
An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a new section
numbered 7-25.2 relating to concurrent jurisdiction between the Com-
monwealth of Virginia and the United States Government over certain
lands, under certain conditions.

- Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. That the Code of Virginia be, and the same hereby is, amended
by adding thereto a new section to be numbered and to read as follows:
§ 7-25.2. Whenever the United States Government has exclusive
jurisdiction over property located in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and
leases such property, or part thereof, to any political subdivision to be used
by it for a public purpose, such exclusive jurisdiction shall cease and de-
termine as to the property so leased and the Commonwealth of Virginia
and the United States Government shall have concurrent jurisdiction over
such property so long as such lease continues. At the termination of such
lease the jurisdiction of the Commonwealth shall cease and the United
States shall have exclusive jurisdiction thereof.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
