CHAPTER 343
An Act to authorize the Commissioner of the Virginia Employment Com-
mission, subject to the approval of the Governor, to sell and convey
any rights and interests that the Commonwealth of Virginia may
have to the air space above a private alley located in the City of
Richmond and to provide that the Commissioner may enter into an
agreement to relocate said private alley and execute such other in-
struments as may be deemed appropriate in connection therewtth.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. Subject to the approval of the Governor, the Commissioner of
the Virginia Employment Commission is hereby empowered to sell and
convey by deed, in form approved by the Attorney General, whatever
interest the Commonwealth of Virginia may have in the air space above
that certain private alley located in the City of Richmond and extending
back from Eighth Street between East Cary and East Main Streets, all
as shown on the plat attached to the agreement dated September 22, 1881,
of record in Deed Book 123-A, page 9, Clerk’s Office of the Chancery Court
of the City of Richmond.
§ 2. The Commissioner is also hereby authorized, subject to the ap-
proval of the Governor, to enter into an agreement with adjoining property
owners who have a common interest in the said private alley in order to
relocate same, and he may execute such other instruments as may be deemed
appropriate in connection therewith.
