An Act to amend and reenact § 54-50, as amended, of the Code of Vir-
ginia, relating to fees chargeable by the Virginia State Bar. 3 2671

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 54-50 as amended, of the Code of Virginia be amended and
reenacted as follows:

§ 54-50. The Supreme Court of Appeals may, from time to time,
prescribe, adopt, promulgate and amend rules and regulations fixing a
schedule of fees to be paid by members of the Virginia State Bar for the
purpose of administering this article, and providing for the collection
and disbursement of such fees; but the annual fees to be paid by any
attorney at law shall not exceed the sum of * fifteen dollars; provided that
any increase in fees, fixed by the Supreme Court of Appeals, shall not be
used for financing any new programs of the Virginia State Bar for the
biennium 1964-1966.
