CHAPTER 297
An Act to provide for the disposal of exhibits and fixtures in the State
Museum, and to repeal §§ 9-62, 9-68 and 10-21.8 of the Code of
Virginia, relating to the location and operation of the Museum of
Science and the State Museum. $1791

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Director of the Department of Conservation and Economic
Development is directed to discontinue operation of the State Museum
now located in the Finance Building. Such exhibits and fixtures as have
value for use in another State museum, which may be established in the
future, shall be stored and retained in such place as the Governor may
direct for a reasonable period of time pending its possible future use.
2. That §§ 9-62, 9-63 and 10-21.8 of the Code of Virginia are hereby
repealed.
