CHAPTER 242

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding therein a section num-
bered 15.1-26.1, relating to the allocation of county funds to sanitary
districts.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding therein a section
numbered 15.1-26.1 as follows:

§ 15.1-26.1. The governing body of any county in this State may
advance funds, not otherwise specifically allocated or obligated, from
the general fund to a sanitary district to assist the sanitary district to
initiate the project for which it was created.
