CHAPTER 177
An Act to amend and reenact § 59-19.1 of the Code of Virginia relating
to the suspension or revocation of licenses for violations in sale of
cigarettes or groceries so to include suspension of permits to affix
Virginia tobacco tax stamps or to use metering devices. ‘3 176]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 59-19.1 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:
§ 59-19.1. The State Tax Commissioner may, upon notice and after
hearing, suspend or revoke the licenses of any wholesaler of tobacco or
groceries or peddler of tobacco, or suspend any permit issued under
§ 58-757.10 during the time of violation, for any violation of this chapter
in respect to the sale of cigarettes or groceries.
Any person aggrieved by such decision, order or finding of the State
Tax Commissioner may appeal therefrom to the circuit or corporation
court of the county or city in which he resides or has his principal place
of business or to the Circuit Court of the City of Richmond, if such person
is a nonresident or does not have a principal place of business in this state.
