CHAPTER 174

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
22-280.2, providing for certain emergency drills to be held on school
buses.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
22-280.2 as follows:
§ 22-280.2. At every public school having public school buses, there
shall be held a school bus drill at least once during the first ninety calendar
days of each school session, and oftener, if necessary, in order that pupils
and bus drivers may be thoroughly practiced in leaving school buses under
emergency circumstances.
