CHAPTER 78

An Act to amend and reenact § 28-185.8 of the Code of Virginia, relat-
ing to the establishment and administration of Roanoke Technical
Institute.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
|. That § 23-135. g of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
is follows:

§ 23-135.8. There is hereby established within the Virginia Polytech-
lic Institute a division to be known as the “Roanoke Technical Institute’,
1ereinafter referred to as the Institute. Such Institute shall be in all
espects subject to the judgment, control and supervision of the governing
yard of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute in cooperation with the State
3oard of Education, which said Institute shall offer courses * appropriate
o established accreditation practices in its field.
