CHAPTER 58
An Act to authorize the Board of Visitors of the Medical College of
Virginia to grant to the Belle Bryan Day Nursery an easement to
insure access to the nursery in the event of closure of a certain street
in the City of Richmond.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The Medical College of Virginia is authorized, with the approval
of the Governor in writing first obtained, to grant an easement to the
Belle Bryan Day Nursery to insure access to the nursery on that portion
of 9th Street between East Leigh Street and East Turpin Street in the
City of Richmond, Virginia, which is to be closed to public travel and be-
come the property of the Medical College of Virginia in accordance with
an Ordinance No. 60-308 of the City Council of the City of Richmond,
enacted November fourteenth, nineteen hundred sixty.
. The granting of this easement will be at no expense to the
commonwealth of Virginia and will be in a form approved by the Attorney
neral.
§ 3. Nothing in this act shall be construed as authorizing or em-
powering the granting of any rights in such property contrary to the terms
and conditions of the ordinance authorizing the closing of said street.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
