CHAPTER 551

An Act to amend and reenact § 82-310 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to penalties for establishing, conducting, maintaining or operating a
hospital without a license.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 32-310 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:

§ 32-310. Any person establishing, conducting, maintaining or oper-
ating a hospital without a license shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not * less than * twenty-five
dollars * nor more than five hundred dollars, * or by confinement in jaul
for not more than twelve months, or both, and each day of such violation
before any conviction shall constitute a separate first offense.
