CHAPTER 340

An Act to amend and reenact § 65-92, as amended, of the Code of Vir-
ginia, relating to hearing and awards by the Industrial Commission,
to provide that such hearings and awards may be made by deputies,
and to delete provision that testimony be transmitted to the Com-
Mission.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 65-92, as amended, of the Code of Virginia, be amended and
reenacted as follows:

§ 65-92. The Commission or any of its members or deputies shall hear
the parties at issue and their representatives and witnesses and shall de-
cide the issues in a summary manner, and shall make an award carrying
out the decision, and a copy thereof shall be immediately sent to the
parties at issue.* |
