to amend and reenact § 37-84.8, as amended, of the Code of
Virginia, relating to business manager of the Department of Mental
Hygiene and Hospitals.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 37-84.8, as amended, of the Code of Virginia, be amended
and reenacted, as follows:

§ 37-34.3. * There shall be a business manager * for the Department of
Mental Hygiene and Hospitals. * The powers, duties and functions of the
business manager shall be prescribed by the Commissioner of Mental
Hygiene and Hospitals. The business manager shall be appointed by the
Commissioner and serve at his pleasure.
