CHAPTER 304
An Act to amend and reenact § 54-295 of the Code of Virginia, to increase
from ten to fifteen dollars the compensation of the members of the
Board of Medical Examiners for the State of Virginia. <3

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 54-295 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:
§ 54-295.—Each member of the Board, except the secretary, shall
receive *fifteen dollars for each day actually employed in the discharge of
his official duties, together with all necessary expenses incurred. The
secretary of the Board shall receive, in addition to necessary expenses,
an annual salary, to be fixed by the Board, with the approval of the
Governor. The compensation and expenses of the members and the
necessary expenses of the Board shall be paid out of the State treasury,
on requisitions signed by the president and secretary of the Board, and
upon the warrants of the Comptroller.
