CHAPTER 241

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
22-97.1, relating to powers of city school boards with respect to the
transportation of pupils.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
22-97.1, as follows:

§ 22-97.1. City school boards may provide for the transportation of
pupils; but nothing herein contained shall be construed as requiring such
transportation.
