CHAPTER 235
An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
2-86.2, requiring the Attorney General to provide legal services in
certain instances.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1, That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
2-86.2 as follows:
§ 2-86.2. The Attorney General shall at the request of an attorney
for the Commonwealth, provide legal services to such attorney for the
Commonwealth in any proceedings brought against him seeking to restrain
the enforcement of any State law.
Any costs chargeable against the defendant in any such case shall be
paid by the Commonwealth from the appropriation for the payment of
criminal charges.
