CHAPTER 226

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a section num-
bered 29-184.5, relating to the disposition of the dog fund in certain

cities.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
29-184.5 as follows:

§ 29-184.5. In any city which has, by agreement with the Com-
mission, taken over the enforcement of the dog laws within such city the
funds collected for dog license taxes shall be paid into a special fund and
may be disposed of as provided in §§ 29-206 and 29-209 ; provided, however,
that the City Treasurer shall not be required to remit any portion of such
funds to the State Treasurer.
