CHAPTER 160

An Act to authorize the Governor and Attorney General to execute in the
name of the Commonwealth, a deed conveying unto Pine Harbor
Corporation certain formerly submerged lands in Linkhorn Bay,
Princess Anne County, Virginia. rH 390]

Whereas, in recent years the Pine Harbor Corporation has reclaimed,
by bulkheading and filling, certain submerged lands from the bed of the
Linkhorn Bay in Princess Anne County, Virginia, abutting the property
owned by it and desires to perfect its title to such reclaimed lands by
obtaining a conveyance thereof from the Commonwealth of Virginia;
now, therefore,

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. The Governor and the Attorney General are hereby authorized
in consideration of the premises and the payment of the sum of one
dollar to execute, in the name of the Commonwealth, a proper deed of
conveyance, under the lesser seal of the Commonwealth, conveying unto
Pine Harbor Corporation, all of the Commonwealth’s right, title and
interest in and to the following described property :

PARCEL A:

All that certain parcel of formerly submerged land located in Princess
Anne County, Virginia, containing 0.028 acres and designated as Parcel A
on plat made by Alton M. Butler, Surveyor, dated January 12, 1962
entitled “Survey of Area Between Existing Boundary Line of Pine Harbor
Corporation and Face of Wooden Bulkhead, Princess Anne Co., Va. for
Pine Harbor Corporation”, and, according to such plat, more particularly
described as follows:

Commencing at a point on the northern boundary line of property of
Pine Harbor Corporation, which point is 23.50 feet westwardly along
such boundary line from the eastern boundary line of such property,
thence along such boundary line south 79° 20’ West 112.0 feet to the face
of a wooden bulkhead; thence along the face of such bulkhead north 12°
25’ West 9 feet and north 77° 32’ 31” East 111.95 feet to the eastern
terminus of a boat canal and thence south 12° 25’ East 12.50 feet to the
point of beginning.

PARCEL B:

All that certain parcel of formerly submerged land located in Princess
Anne County, Virginia, containing 0.434 acres and designated as Parcel B
on the above mentioned plat and, according to such plat, more particularly
described as follows:

Commencing at a point marked by the intersection of the northern
line of Laskin Road (U. S. Route 58) and the western face of a wooden
bulkhead on Linkhorn Bay, thence along the face of such wooden bulkhead
the following courses and distances: North 22° 40’ East 28 feet, North
52° 00’ East 139.0 feet, North 16° 45’ East 136.0 feet, North 70° 35’
East 104.0 feet, South 16° 10’ East 12 feet, North 79° 20’ East 502.91
feet and South 50° 00’ East 15.83 feet to the northern property line of
Pine Harbor Corporation; thence along such last mentioned line South
719° 20’ West 559.0 feet and South 29° 19’ West 256.66 feet to the northern
property line of Laskin Road and thence along such last mentioned line
South 77° 34’ 07” West 94.50 feet to the point of beginning.
