An Act to amend and reenact §§ 53-274 and 68-301 of the Code of Virginia,
relating to probation, fines, restitution for damages and support from
probationer.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That §§ 53-274 and 63-301 of the Code of Virginia be amended and
reenacted as follows:
§ 53-274. While on probation the defendant may be required to pay
in one or several sums a fine and costs imposed at the time of being placed
on probation as a condition of such probation, and the failure of the de-
fendant to pay such fine and costs at the prescribed time or times may be
deemed a breach of such probation. Such defendant * may be required to
make restitution or reparation to the aggrieved party or parties for actual
damages or loss caused by the offense for which conviction was had, or
may be required to provide for the support of his wife or others for whose
support he may be legally responsible.
An Act to repeal Chapter 87 of the Acts of Assembly of 1950, approved
March 8, 1950, as amended, relating to the season when squirrels may
be taken in certain counties.

1. That Chapter 87 of the Acts of Assembly of 1950, approved March 3,
1950, as amended, is repealed.
