An Act to authorize the Governor of Virginia and the State H ospital Board
to sell and convey to the town of Marion certain property. rH 580)

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The Governor of Virginia and the State Hospital Board are
hereby jointly authorized and empowered, on behalf of the Commonwealth,
whenever in their judgment and discretion it is fitting and proper so to do,
to sell and convey to the town of Marion for such consideration as they
deem proper, all right, title and interest of the Commonwealth of Virginia
and of the State Hospital Board in and to that real estate with improve-
ments thereon owned by the State Hospital Board and located in the town
of Marion or in the county of Smyth.
§ 2. The transfer and conveyance hereby authorized shall be by
proper deed or deeds prepared by the Attorney General executed in the
name of the Commonwealth of Virginia by the Governor and the Chairman
of the State Hospital Board, under the lesser seal of the Commonwealth.
The consideration received for said conveyance shall be paid into the
general fund of the Commonwealth.
This act is supplemental to any other law relating to such real
estate and improvements.
