CHAPTER 525

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a section num-
bered 15-891.10, authorizing the name of regional planning and eco-
nomic development commissions to be changed. CH 515]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia: .

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding thereto a section
numbered 15-891.10 as follows:

§ 15-891.10. Any commission heretofore or hereafter created under
the provisions of this article shall have the authority, in the discretion
of the members thereof, to delete the words “economic development” from
its name.

No such change of name of any such commission, however, shall in any
way affect or limit the powers and duties of such commission.
