CHAPTER 436

An Act to amend and reenact § 56-284 of the Code of Virginia, relating to
transportation of baggage, mail and parcels in certain passenger
carrying vehicles.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

ae That § 56-284 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:

§ 56-284. A certificate for the transportation of passengers may in-
clude authority to transport in the same vehicle with passengers the
baggage of * passengers, newspapers and express parcels * none of which
parcels exceeds one hundred pounds weight, or United States mail when
the transportation thereof is authorized by the Government of the United
States of America *.
