the extent he was under the care of Dr. Thomas R. Travis, of the St.
Francis Clinic, Montross, until November 1, 1954, and then was under the
care of his family physician, Dr. C. Y. Griffith, Mt. Holly, Virginia; and

Luke’s Hospital, Richmond, Virginia, due to the old leg injury and other
illness, at which time the physicians determined his recurrent leg infection
was cancerous and dating back to the September 28, 1954, injury, in their
opinion, making it necessary to perform an operation on the leg and graft
skin from elsewhere on his body, all of which caused great inconvenience
and pain, and incurred a large medical expense; and
Whereas, both the Insurance carrier and the State Industrial Com-
mission have ruled that due to the statute of limitations, Mr. Self is not
eligible for reimbursement of time lost or medical expenses while in St.
Lukes Hospital, thus affording no relief for medical expenses for this
Forest Warden who was injured while working in the public interest at a
hazardous job, now, therefore,

velopment shall draw a voucher upon the appropriation to such Depart-
ment in favor of Bradley M. Self in the amount of four hundred twenty

M. Self in the manner prescribed by law, in payment of medical expenses
