CHAPTER 351
An Act to amend Chapter 385 of the Acts of Assembly of 1958, approved
March 29, 1958, which created the Virginia Civil War Commission,
by adding sections numbered 5-a and 5-b, authorizing the Commis-
sion to form or participate in the formation of a nonprofit corpora-
tion or corporations, and to contract with and grant funds to public
and private agencies to effectuate its objectives. tH 5721

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That Chapter 335 of the Acts of Assembly of 1958, approved March
29, 1958, be amended by adding sections numbered 5-a and 5-b, as follows:
§ 5-a. The Commission is hereby authorized to form or participate
in the formation of a nonprofit corporation or corporations to assist the
Commission in carrying out the purposes of this act and to such end may
apply for and receive corporate charters and amendments thereto.
§ 5-b. The Commission may contract with public and private agen-
cies and groups for effectuating its objectives and may grant funds to
such agencies and groups to be expended for such purposes.
