CHAPTER 339

An Act to amend and reenact § 58-32 of the Code of Virginia, relating to
the office of the State Tax Commissioner and providing for expenses.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

: ‘ That § 58-382 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:

§ 58-32. The office of the Commissioner shall be in the city of Rich-
mond and suitable rooms shall be provided therefor in the State office
building by the Governor. But the Commissioner may hold sessions and
conduct investigations and hearings at any other place when necessary to
the proper performance of the duties prescribed by law. The Commissioner
and the employees of the Department of Taxation shall receive from the
State the amount of their actual necessary expenses * on the business of
the Commissioner, such expenses to be * approved by the Commissioner.
