CHAPTER 229

An Act to designate a portion of United States Highway No. 840 as
“The Stonewall Jackson Memorial Highway” and to provide for
marking same.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. That portion of United States Highway No. 340 lying between
its intersection with United States Highway No. 11 at Greenville, Vir-
ginia and the West Virginia boundary is hereby designated as “The
Stonewall Jackson Memorial Highway’. Appropriate markers shall be
placed by the Department of Highways to indicate the designation of
this highway.
