CHAPTER 210
An Act to permit the governing bodies of certain counties to lease lands
designated on the county master plan as being intended for future
public use.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
|. § 1. The governing body of any county having a density of popula-
tion in excess of four thousand per square mile may acquire by lease, with
or without an option or options to purchase, any land which has been
designated on the master plan adopted for such county as being intended
for future use for any public purpose; provided, that no such lease shall
be for a period in excess of ten years, nor shall any such leasehold interest
be acquired by eminent domain.
