CHAPTER 205

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
14-155.18, prescribing additional compensation for clerks of certain

courts.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
14-155.13 as follows:

§ 14-155.13. In any county adjoining a city having a population of
more than two hundred thousand and in any county adjoining another
county having a population of more than one thousand per square mile,
the clerk of a court of record in any such county which court has juris-
diction in a city shall receive a sum of one thousand dollars for each addi-
tional city served by such court and clerk.
