CHAPTER 174

An Act to amend and reenact § 15-453 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to salaries of any city or town mayor, councilman, and certain other

officers thereof. [H 396]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
tn That § 15-453 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as

ollows:

§ 15-453. Nothing in §§ 15-448 to 15-452 shall affect the salaries of
any * mayor or councilman of any city or town or other officers whose
salaries are fixed, or the manner of fixing the same is prescribed, by the
charter of any city or town.

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
